Rob Roa is a Detroit-area creative professional with more than 18 years of experience in audio production, live events, music, and media.
Through Roundabout Records, Rob provides recording, mixing, audiobook production, podcast production, DJ services, lighting, and event audio support for artists, authors, businesses, and community events.
Rob is also a licensed insurance agent, helping individuals, families, and business owners understand their options and protect what matters most.
Whether the work is creative, technical, or personal, Rob’s approach is simple: listen first, communicate clearly, and help people move forward with confidence.
My Story
I have spent most of my life working with sound, music, technology, and people.
My creative work started in recording studios and live events, but over time it grew into a wider mission: helping people bring ideas, stories, and experiences to life.
Through Roundabout Records, I work with artists, authors, brands, businesses, and event organizers who need reliable creative support. That can mean producing an audiobook, recording a podcast, mixing a song, providing sound for a live event, DJing a wedding, or helping shape the media around an important project.
I’m also a licensed insurance agent, helping individuals, families, and business owners understand coverage for life, health, home, auto, and commercial insurance. That work gives me another way to help people make clear decisions and protect what they are building.
I’m based in Bloomfield Township and serve the greater Detroit area. My work is rooted in creativity, service, community, and real connection.
